NEWS: Religious leaders call for peace: Lesotho

Religious leaders in Lesotho say they want peace and would like to see their leaders talking about political stability in the country.




Some members of the Lesotho Council of Churches yesteday met with Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa during one of his back-to-back diplomatic meetings with differenct groups in South Africa's landlocked neighbor.

Council member Rev. Tseliso Masemane told The New Age that as religious leaders they had a responsibility to ensure that there was peace in Lesotho.  He said they we not political but had a say in politics nonetheless.
