On Tuesday evening, thousands of women turned out for the 'Women For Change' run/ walk through Tokai Forest, protesting violence against women and children.
According to the Facebook group, 2400 women attended the event, while some runners said well over 3000 took part.
Participants paid tribute to teenager Franziska Blöchliger - who was allegedly raped and brutally murdered in the area last Monday - along with the victims of similar recent atrocities.
