NEWS: AfriForum is optimistic about improvements in farmers’ safety after meeting the Agriculture Minister

AfriForum says it had a constructive meeting with Agriculture Minister Senzeni Zokwana to discuss steps to improve the safety of farmers and other people living in rural areas.

The civil rights organisation and the department have agreed to a plan of action that includes expanding AfriForum’s safety initiatives and taking a firm stance against individuals who incite violence or make irresponsible statements that could impede respect among communities.
