NEWS: One-million doses of an Ebola vaccine will be produced by the end of next year

The World Health Organisation has announced that one-million doses of an Ebola vaccine will be produced by the end of next year. It adds that several hundred-thousand doses will be available in the first half of 2015.

Vaccines could be offered to health workers on the frontline in West Africa as soon as December this year.

But the organisation cautions that vaccines will not be a magic bullet for ending the outbreak.
