NEWS: Lions on the loose in Limpopo

Johannesburg - Two lions are on the loose in Tolwe, Limpopo, police said on Sunday.

"Just this afternoon they were spotted next to Glen Alpine Dam," Brigadier Hangwani Mulaudzi said.

"The two animals have already attacked and eaten two cows on one of the farms."

It seemed the lions had come across the border from Botswana, he said.

People in the area were urged to keep a look out for the lions.
