NEWS: Group offers to pay back Nkandla money for Zuma

Cape Town – A group calling themselves the Public Members’ Unit Team (PMUT) has sent a letter to the public protector and Parliament offering to pay back money on behalf of President Jacob Zuma for upgrades to his home in Nkandla.















According to Eyewitness News the group’s offer, which would be paid if it is found that Zuma owes money for the upgrades, was read before Parliament’s ad hoc committee on Nkandla on Thursday.

The letter states: “We as the Public Members Unit Team feel that this issue has humiliated the President of the Republic of South Africa… we will pay back the money of behalf of President Jacob Zuma.”
