The carcasses of 36 jackals and some crows have been found in the park in the past two weeks, and tests have confirmed they ingested the highly toxic pesticide, methomyl.
Park authorities suspect that meat laced with methomyl was left in the park.
They also fear there may still be some poisoned meat in the park.
A case was opened with the police and the SA National Parks’ environmental crime unit is also investigating.
