NEW: MTN To Compensate Customers After Network Glitch

MTN says 400,000 of the one million people affected by the loss of signal over the past week will be compensated with one gigabyte of data.














The mobile network says its engineers have established what caused the problem that prevented MTN users from accessing the internet and sending SMSes.

The disruptions ended yesterday afternoon.
