NEW: MTN Confirms It’s Battling To Fix A Network Glitch

MTN has confirmed its experiencing downtime affecting at least one million voice, SMS and data customers.

Customers have been complaining about the network since last night. Spokesperson Chris Maroleng says he will be able to update customers once the root cause has been identified.
