NEW: Khaya Magaxa replaces Fransman in Western Cape legislature

Khaya Magaxa is the new leader of the opposition in the Western Cape provincial legislature, the African National Congress in the province said on Tuesday.

Magaxa would replace Marius Fransman until all internal party processes had been concluded, said acting provincial secretary Thandi Manikivana in a statement.
