NEW: ‘Corruption In Education Sector Will Not Be Tolerated’

Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga says she and her department are adamant that corruption in the sector will be dealt with after investigations found that teaching jobs are being sold.














Initial media reports detailed a scandal called “cash for jobs” where teachers and principals would pay up to R50,000 to get a post.

Minister Motshekga says the blatant corruption and exploitation will not be tolerated.
