NEW: Dad halts daughter’s wedding so her stepdad could help give her away

Washington - A US wedding is making headlines after a father paused his daughter’s wedding to invite her stepfather to join him in walking her down the aisle.

Photographer Delia Blackburn, who captured the images, described the moment:

"He stopped the procession and he walked up to his daughter's stepfather. Todd [the father] reached out his hand and grabbed [her] stepfather and pulled him down the aisle to walk their daughter down the aisle together. NOT A DRY EYE at the ceremony".
