Police spokesman Colonel Jay Naicker said that the police's Air Wing had spotted the field of illicit crops while on an operation.
"The officers identified the field as dagga while they were returning to base from another operation. The location of the field cannot be divulged at this stage, and steps have been taken to investigate the cultivation and destroy the plants," he said.
