NEW: S. Africans unhappy with government’s handling of women issues

South Africans feel there’s still a long way to go before they can reach a level of satisfaction with the manner in which violence against women and children is handled.

Only a meagre 15% of South Africans feel the government is handling the issue “very well”, with 29% rating the handling of the matter “fairly well”.
