Stringing a wire fence to stop livestock getting into a
school yard and planting 67 trees – that’s how President Jacob Zuma
plans to honour Nelson Mandela International Day.
The presidency said in a statement that Zuma will on
July 18 officially open a newly upgraded state of the art school in
Mvezo‚ in the Eastern Cape. The Makgatho Lewanika Primary School was
formed as a result of a merger between Nkwenkwezi Primary School and
Mvezo Primary School and it currently has an enrolment of 600 learners.
