NEWS: Tightening Of Belts A Norm As More Price Hikes Hit SA

CAPE TOWN - It has become more costly for South Africans to get to work and switch on the lights. Various increases, including hikes in fuel and electricity costs came into effect on 1 July further aggravating already over-burdened consumers’ bank balances.










Switching on the ignition this morning became more costly, as the petrol price went up by 44 cents a litre at midnight.
