NEWS: Helping others help themselves can change SA

A GRADUATE of Harvard and Oxford University, Yusuf Randera-Rees could have remained at Credit Suisse in New York and Zurich, where he was a trader, earning a dream salary.

Instead, he chose to return to SA to help small business owners grow and succeed in their ventures.
Randera-Rees was only 11 years old in 1994, but loved the idea of a new SA — especially its promise that everyone would be treated equally. Although the country is free of racial segregation, he believes that unfairness still exists, particularly in giving everyone an equal opportunity to grow within the business sector.

NEWS: Stress is good for women's memory

Bouts of stress could be good for your memory, especially if you are a woman.

These are the findings of University of Cape Town academic Christopher du Plooy's five-year research.
