NEWS: Gang holds up staff at JHB children's home

Johannesburg - Staff at the Ethembeni Children’s Home in Johannesburg are traumatised following an armed robbery last week that saw a gang make off with valuable items.

The home in Doornfontein, which is run by the Salvation Army, was hit by a gang of 4 just after 18:00 on Thursday evening.

They held guns to the heads of staff members and demanded access to certain areas, which they then ransacked.

They left after 40 minutes with cash, jewellery, cellphones, cameras, and laptops belonging to the home and its staff.
