NEWS: Clean up the rubbish: What happened to the people of Central Methodist Church?

Over the weekend, a rather curious—but hardly unexpected—joint operation between the police, army and Home Affairs targeted the five hundred foreign nationals huddled in Johannesburg’s world famous Central Methodist Church. There was very little protocol, and even less humanity, invested in this operation. Which is becoming standard practice in South Africa’s great xenophobic clean-up.
