NEWS: South Africans are warned to prepare for rolling blackouts for at least the next two years

Eskom has intensified load shedding from stage 2 to stage 3.

The country is suffering rolling blackouts for a third day in a row, with stage 3 kicking in earlier today than yesterday.

Public Enterprises Minister Lynne Brown today gave the assurance that South Africa is nowhere close to a total blackout situation, but said rolling power cuts will be a reality for at least the next two years.
