NEWS: Foreigners in JHB close up shops

Foreign nationals in Johannesburg's CBD are reportedly closing up their shops due to fears of violence.

Johannesburg police spokesperson Wayne Minnaar confirmed the news, but added that they have not received reports of attacks or violence yet, ANA reported.

The report comes after attacks on foreigners in and around Durban, with widespread looting of foreign-owned stores also taking place.
