NEWS: Mother Stays Close To Christian Faith As She Mourns Family Killed By Taliban

The wife and mother, whose husband and two teenage children were killed by Taliban rebels at their compound in Kabul, Afghanistan, on Saturday, has turned to her Christian faith for comfort, reported the Beeld on Tuesday.





“I am sad that I did not go with them, but the Lord clearly has other plans for me,” Hannelie Groenewald told the newspaper.

It is believed that the family, who had been living in Kabul since 2002, were gunned down after they were identified as alleged undercover missionaries working to convert Muslim people to the Christianity faith.
