NEWS: U2’s Bono has to cancel a television appearance after falling from his bike

U2 frontman Bono was injured while cycling in New York’s Central Park.

The band says this has forced a delay in the Irish rockers’ return to the television programme, The Tonight Show this week.

U2 says on their website the 54-year-old injured his arm and needs surgery.

Bono suffered a spinal injury in 2010 while preparing for a tour and underwent emergency surgery in Germany.
