An investigation by EWN has revealed that the Paralympic champion had a nine-minute long conversation
with Jenna Edkins just before he arrived home to Steenkamp on the eve of the Valentine’s Day shooting.
However, police did not uncover this piece of evidence. This development is contained in a new book about the trial,
Behind the Door, authored by EWN senior reporters Barry Bateman and Mandy Wiener. Pistorius was
convicted of culpable homicide for Steenkamp’s death last month and sentencing procedures will begin on the thirteenth of this month.
