Eskom announced that Ngwathe, Dihlabeng and Maluti-a-Phofung municipalities have not come up with a
payment plan for the next six to eighteen months and also haven’t been paying their current bills.
eNCA reports that Eskom says the power supply would remain suspended until the authorities represent a payment plan that was agreeable with the utility. The three municipalities represent towns like Parys, Witsieshoek and Bethlehem.
