NEWS: Toilet paper worth million siezed

Millions of rands in stolen Mr Price clothing and toilet paper have been recovered in a warehouse in Davidsonville, Roodepoort, Johannesburg metro police said on Sunday.

Metro police and the SAPS had received a tip-off that the goods were being stored in the warehouse, after the truck they were being transported in was hijacked in Eldorado Park, Chief Superintendent Wayne Minnaar said.

"When officers broke open this storage facility, they discovered different clothing and toilet paper."

Millions of rands worth of clothing from retailer Mr Price and many different brands of toilet paper were recovered.

No arrests had been made. (SAPA)
