NEWS: Fired actors of Generations have agreed to go back to work

The sixteen actors of the SABC soapie Generations who were fired after going on strike, have agreed to go back to work following negotiations facilitated by the public broadcaster’s chief operating official, Hlaudi Motsoeneng.

Not all their demands have been met, but they will be getting more money, annual increases and longer-term contracts.

City Press reports that the artists have also sent a lawyer’s letter to the series’ producer, MMSV, saying they were willing to  return to work. It is still uncertain whether the company will be willing to take them back.
