NEWS: Tragic church fire case

The matter against seven people accused of setting alight a church was postponed to September 29 in the Pongola Magistrate’s Court yesterday, the NPA said.

The seven were arrested for setting fire to the church where the body parts of four-year-old Kiki Ntuli were found in a plastic bag on June 6.

A house in Ncotshane, where police found a skull and skeleton, was also torched.

Forensic specialists who searched the church pastor’s property found more bones on July 11.

A 23-year-old man was arrested in connection with the murder of the boy. – Sapa
